City Planner's Report (build priorites): In the beginning... Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

We currently have 1 city, Melfort. Our build options are settlers, warriors, or barracks. No shields have been accumulated. The only unit we currently have is a single settler. So what should Melfort start producing?

in the picture 123john attached there is an archer

there's no archer there now...

I know, our president has not sent us the latest version of the save game, if you examine the picture attached, it says 3950 B.C, however the save game sent out is 4000 B.C

I believe 123john played a few turns without any consultation. He mentioned that in his other thread. He sent me the save from 4000 bc, so I think he wants to start over to make sure we can give our input before he continues playing.

Our fearless leader is enthusiastic but apparently has taken a few things for granted.

Once we get things organized, it'll go smoothly, 123john321. Be patient, let the ppl speak, let the High Council advise, and we'll get this ship sailing smoothly.

2/ about the archer and the first turns, cf. my post in the thread "in the beginning....", in the same tone that the others.
3/ The first warrior for defending (and happiness), then a second unit (with a move of 2) for exploring.

And on a map like this we should go for LH, exploration is slow enough as it is.
