Turn 45 sent to Slamp.
The Germans recieved a message from the English (two of them actually). We believe these to be offers of treaty and possibly a map exchange. Problems came up when, upon opening the letters, we saw nothing but French. There was a problem also because we were not able to chose "accept" "decline" there was only one space, marked by a French word. We closed both messages without reply and trashed them. Funny because it came from the English and was written in French.

Anybody know how to fix this, I have read about it before on the boards, but don't remember if there was a fix. Probably has to do with my Dutcheese game I'm guessing.
ALL the messages come in as French in that game.
Ugh.

Well I'm glad that the save game is now working... I was a bit afraid it might crash again a second time.
BTW what's everyone gonna be doing for the Christmas holiday season? Travelling? Having the relatives over? Celebrating with mates?

Hey guys. I started a web site about the Civ: PBEM games I am in. It will be like a "state of the world". Take a look and let me know what you think. I just started it tonight. I hope it will help put info into one place. I will be putting more up tomorrow, I'm going to bed now.
Just a note, I'm not building the page to replace Apolyton. I will NOT have a message board. I'm just taking info from these threads and putting it together.
