	Editor Problems Support Apolyton, buy Civilization 2

when i try to change the rules with editor, there always something wrong with the game. like that i cant click on the advances that i wanted to reseach, the computer just picks it and i won't be able to change it. how can i change that ????

I can't help much with the editor but I am pretty sure that you will get some eventually. However if you give more details of what you are trying to it will go faster as the first thing anyone is going to is ask that give you more detail to that very sparse post of yours.

What rules?

Whats wrong? Be specific.

Which advances? New ones that you are trying to create or the standard ones? Early in the game, mid game, late game or is it starting tech?

when i edit the rules, any rule. say i changed the size of the map and the names of a civ. then i started to play. all the tech tree is faded out, and i can't click on any of them. i have to research whatever the "researchers" tells me to research. i don't know why. please help me.

	Increase the size of your Attachments

Sounds odd. If you are still running the original version fo the game you should download and install the latest patch 1.29f. That may take of your problem. The original version had issues with the editor and the tech tree if I recall correctly.

when using the editor to place cities and units , sometimes you only get the city name , or the number of the unit , but you can see the place or unit , ....
