I would suggest huge, and random. Huge, because the larger/longer the game is, the more that will be experienced, the better. random so that you don't know anything ahead of time such as geographic locations. That kind of information also gives you the idea of how big a group is by where they are.

Huge. Like Epi said, it would provide a better experience. I'm undecided about random or map of the planet. Both ways would provide a lot of fun.

Definately the map of planet standard. If its huge, then the game will go slow (both turn wise and gameplay wise). If we have a random map, we could start on a two square island and have a faction crush us.

/Edit: Speaking of which, this poll is a little vague. I voted standard map and map of planet. Does that mean I voted for a standard map of planet? If people vote for huge, do they mean huge map of planet or a huge random map?

Huge Random. I don't see the game going a bit slow as all that big a problem given the amount of people we're likely to get in here, and the less we know about the map beforehand the better.

But we all already *know* what the MoP looks like. Hell, those of us who got the Planetary Pack even have fold out poster maps of the bloody thing. It makes the whole game far less challenging.

I didn't realize the AC auto maps were so poor. Surely the advantage of a random map can be seen, however.

Maybe someone ottah make a custom map, but not show it to anyone

yes, i think it does. thats what i voted, and thats what i meant. i guess we pick the most popular map size, and the most popular of planet map and random map. so with 14 votes to huge, and 12 votes to planet, we'd pick the huge planet map.
