	New Deathmatch PBEM Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

I am going to create a small scienario.
It will be on a small world map with 4-6 civs
Each civ will be given lots of troops and some cities.
I have not decided what time period to make it. I was thinking around the machinegunners
and tanks.
Bloodlust will be ofcource be turned on.
Anyone who is intreasted or just wants to make a comment please post here.

Stealing my idea, Shavlor the Cowardly??!?!?!!

We do not have Bloodlust on in MY Deathmatch pbem games, because the other civs will not survive long enough to BUILD alien crap!! By 1800AD there will only be one civ standing.

Lung I guess I should have given you the credit for the name but then Doom had DeathMatch way before you.

Lung I am not a coward and to prove it I challange you to take part in my deathmatch PBEM.

P.S. Lung I guess you didn't make a scienario? Hmmm. I think that game will take to long. Anyway Lung join in the fight if you are not a coward. And post any preferences for the map such as time (Advances or Units) number of cities and number of units. And ofcourse your country and leader-name.

Indeed it does look to be that others are indeed cowards or maybe they don't understand how easy sceinario PBEM is.

You will have to change no files at all. All you have to do is simply get your turn, play it, and sent it.

Yeah I think were ready to go.

I think we should have lots of Attack units, but scatter them so attacks on the first turn would be hard to make, this allow for lots of city swapping, and eliminate the first players advantage. Whatever age we pick Id like it to be one where the Offensive units have an advantage i.e dawn of Tanks, or dawn of Warwalkers.

Well indeed we are ready to go but I will hold til next Monday at least for new players.
I think we should play with tanks so that Nukes are not possible yet but in the near future. I will make the sceinaro and send you each it. You can open it in cheat mode and study the troops and return feedback.

Ok I have to change the map to 5 players.
I think that every one having 5 cities in a small world should do the trick. I will send all of you a completed scienario as soon as I finish. I welcome any feedback.

Ok the map is almost done I will send you all a copy of it on Wedsday. Upon arraivel please post here on apolyton which color(or number) you want to be. To insure that this game actualy does start I am going to do it by first come first serve basics. I will post When all the emails are sent.

Ok the map is done and sent away.
Each person should receive a zip will instrustion on how to install it. Please play and inspect all the civs then post here with your pick. The following Civs are available.
Romans
Greeks
Germans
Australians
Egyptians
The other civs are removed from the game. I made the map start with 8 civs so I could add more civs later just in case.
Let the DeathMatch Begin

P.S.
The Wonders are still in the sceinario I sent out but I am now removing them from the game. the rest will be the same. Also the Public Works and Gold has been increased to about 2000 each.

Um I thought we already chose, and I had picked the Egyptian.

The scenarios fine with me, I did not check it completely tho. I think the game turns should be done by timezone. The scenario seems to be setup this way.

Ok keygen I resent the zip to you.
I also resent it to Jon since I haven't heard from him yet concerning deathmatch yet.
Lung emailed me and asked for the Australians
and Sophix has the Egyptians.
I will take the last civ.
I beleive that they are all petty much equal but I might be wrong. I played the AIs and could win will any of them of course that isn't saying much. More posts to follow.

I'm going away for five days, so i hope this is not too much of an inconvenience. I'm sure you can all understand that i don't want the AI to start the game for me (there probably wouldn't be anything left by the time i got back).

I had a few problems with error messages in starting the game, but it still let me play. I just hope it doesn't come back to haunt me later in the game. Anyway, i will default as the Australians, even though i'm concerned about starting location, as i didn't have time to check the game by cheat mode.

I was thinking that in order to maintain the time zones I would play the Romans and Keygen would play the Greeks(which according to the power chart is highest) If Keygen doesn't want the Greeks He can swich with me and play the Romans. Unfortantly we have to wait for Lung to return before we may start the actual PBEM game. If there are any last minute requests please post or email me at shavlor@zxmail.com

Well, the game run but I had some error messages. I'll mail you them if that could help you in any way.
By the way I'll take the Greeks Shavlor as that was my choise from the beginning (Keygen of the Greeks).

Thanx for the error messages. Yes I realise what happened. I made this sceinario with both dutcheese's strings as while as apolyton's strings installed. But this doesn't affect the gameplay other than thoose begining error messages. Ok as soon as Lung returns the game will begin.

P.S. I am submiting my sceinario to Apolyton for their downloads so if you ever want it again you should be able to download it dirrectly from Apolyton.
