Uh, is there or is there not going to be new commissioner elections? It looks like nobody wants to challenge the current leadership, so they'll stay in power by default... but is there going to be new elections between the two, deciding which one (Crisler & Darkness' Edge) gets to be the Commissioner and which one is Alpha?

I would like to add that P4 openly supports the candidates of ACE for the other directorates. We as moderates want to prevent the radical CCCP from gaining any director seats. A cooperation for ACE with the divisions of posts seemed in order. But although we support their candidacies and will vote for them, this does not mean we have entered any permanent coalition with ACE. For now we are looking only ahead for this one term. P4 wants to stress it keeps its independent status.

Someone once told me that they would nominate me to be the watchgod for party politics. Although I'm beginning to see a lot of it, I just thought I'd pick on you

Is this the only reason such candidates are running for positions? Because your party does not want the CCCP to gain control of any position?

This is not a game about party politics and preventing the other party from getting in, its about playing smac and having fun and roleplaying. Please, let's not degrate it into a political game. Go buy "Superpowers" for that (er....)

So, if your going to be up, dont be up just to try to make the other candidate fail. Be up because you want to, to play that position. Again, not to steal votes from the other people.

(Also, slightly off topic... check here for the latest edition of the UNN!)

Well Tassadar, politics IS part of the RPGing. In the RPG mood I told that I don't want the "evil" CCCP to gain any positions. But really, I suppose the CCCP members are all really nice guys and won't harm a fly when elected director.
