Dear Mr President, your party and the P4 share a very similar view of our new society. I hope we can cooperate on the long term.

(Mat 25:34-40) Then the King shall say to those on His right hand, Come, blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry, and you gave me food; I was thirsty, and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger, and you took Me in; I was naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me. Then the righteous shall answer Him, saying, Lord, when did we see You hungry, and fed You? Or thirsty, and gave You drink? When did we see You a stranger, and took You in? Or naked, and clothed You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and came to You? And the King shall answer and say to them, Truly I say to you, Inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brothers, you have done it to Me.
Love does not buy you clothes, love gives them freely. Love does not count cost, love counts actions. We of the Fundamentalist Faction belive in the value of a thriving economy. However we are on a new world and this new world brings a new way of doing things. We cannot allow the old strafication of our society to follow us here. Here the measure of a man should not be what he can hold, but what he can do. Actions, not financies should be the determining factor.
Since we will have to trade eventually with other conlies here, then I understand the need for a strong economic leadership. But that leadership should be turning the others toward a system that is not based on having more, but on doing more.

I hope so too.

Greed is cool.

Well, it's hard to argue with that. But I stand by my party's philosophy.

Atrocities are distasteful to me in general. Edit: And Wojit speaks for the party line in saying that they would increase the colony's vulnerability.
quote: Mr. President, from the mid-game on P4 is also in favour of free market. In the initial expansion phase however we stand for Planned. What is your view on that matter? FM no matter what or a more moderate approach? |
Surprisingly, I find that improper use of the Free Market leads to economic ruination. For that reason, I am willing to accept a period of Planned economics in the early years of our colony, but will push for a switch to Free Market as soon as it is feasible.

Dear Mr President, I'm glad to tell you that the P4 concur to this policy.
