Hello to all of you,
I am new to this board and before coming to the point I would like to introduce myself ( or at least my CIV background). I am an "old" CIV I,II player and wanted to try something new. However, it would have to be as strategically focused as CIV I,II and as interesting as CIV I,II ( I don't know how many nights I spent playing...), well, you will know that problem. Finally, I came to CIV CTP and surprise, surprise I found what I was looking for. Here I am, seeking someone who would like to start playing a new multiplayer game since I have been playing on my own so far. If possible I would also like to participate in an existing multiplayer game. So, don't let me down guys. :-)

I was thinking just the other day, I feel like playing in another PBEM game. You have read my mind.
Do you have the required patches, add-ons, etc?
If not, let us know, or just check out the page that Apolyton provides, they've got the stuff that you require.
I'm up for a game, Demosthenes of the Welsh if you please. Do you have any idea on what kind of game you want to play? (Number of players, scenario, settings, etc).
Anyway, let me know the details, and count me in.

Hey Ubaldo
there actually an opening in an existing PBEM game (Semi Accelerated for a long absent player). You should only need Patch 1.2 and the Hack installed (you can download the hack from Apolyton's Ctp section).

We tend to play one turn a day. I would encourage to also start another game as well, because, I play in four games, and takes up very little time, which is good because thats all the time I have with school and work.

What do I need to download you said? I have got patch 1.2 already but what is the other stuff???
Once I have the required downloads, how can I participate?

Just 'cut & paste' this into your browser and low and behold, you can download the hack. Unzip the little critter and follow the directions in the 'readme' file.
I believe that the game that Sophanthro is talking about is one that I also participate in.Have a look in the "Semi Acc Game part 2" thread, or post here, or email us, to let us know if you're up for it.

glad to hear there is so many people interested in joining but I think we are seven already!!!
