I have looked through the parties and your Lemmy is the one for me.

I have always supported science, but since the majority of the Scientific parties are also pacifist I find that a little dangerous, you truly believe in the aquistion of knowledge at any cost, I know what it can be like haviing no tech, I will vote for you. I believe that we need more people like you in the government, specifically with a passion for science, politically I believe in Democracy and political freedom, but I support your aggressive aciton for science.

Thankyou, as I see it most if the other political factions are all alike, they support Improved Economy, Scienece, Democracy, and that all join the CDC, but none of them seem to see the crucial need for science as you do.

Also I propose a name change, no offence but the name SSK (Sub Faction of Science and Knowledge) has several problems, the term "Sub" makes us seems small and a splinter group, and "Scienece and Knowledge" dont really show how we plan to go get our tech at ANY costs.so I propose a new name...

The Knowledge Of Power Party.

Appreviated to KOP, showing we are a slightly more aggressive party externaly and do not underestimate the value of Knowledge.

If you approve the new name I can male a KOP Brochue thread outlying our objectives. (We will probbably get more members that way if it new.)

while i agree the SSK isn't the best name, i'm not sure KOP would fit better, i think you're on the right track though, that we need a more "aggresive" name.

I was thinking that KOP kinda sound slike COP, of course we do not need to use abbreviaitons, the Hawk Party does not abbreviate, we could just call ourselves, the "Power of Kowledge" or "Knowledge is Power" but both are statements as opposed to names.

a)Knowledge at any costs

b)Flexibility with the SE to gain knowledge

c)supportive of policies that may be less then pacifist if they grant tech.

The Scientific Axis

“Knowledge is power, guard it well”

Ever since planetfall many Political parties have formed, and each party has promised that scientific research would be important.

But how important?


*The Capital Party is concerned about there pockets being full.

*Centauri Communalism Citizen's Party(CCCP) are to busy with the revolution to deal with research.

*Centauri Democrats (CD) are going to keep democracy, but what about science?

*Exploration And Discovery Party (EDP), why is sciencenot a priority?

*Fundamentalist Faction (FF):”Religion without Science is Blind”-Albert Einstein

*The Hawk Party : How will we conquer our enemies with primitive weapons?

*Liberal Social Democrats (LSD) And just how far will thay go to gain tech?

*Poly Party For Progress And Prosperity (P4) : They should have one S for Science.

The Scientific Axis has recognised that in this hostile world only the best, newest, and the most advanced will keep us dominant, if we are to show the other factions in peace time that we are a force to be recogned with! We are not warmongers but we must be able to unleash our chaos guns when the enemy has mere particle impacters, we must out wit out opponents foils with cruisers, we must be able to say we have Planet Busters for DETERRENT. My friends, this is going to be a violent world, if we stand by and pray that no one will touch us, we are fooled.

And science is not only good for our military, but the civilian will be greatly benefited, shouldn’t everyone deserve a chance to be able to watch the latest installment of Recon Rover Rick? If cant even make holo theaters then what? If we cant develop the tech to build research hospitals, then what will we do when the Prometheus Epidemic hits? And When Planet’s mindworms start taking our children what will we say to their parents, that we cant even build a centauri preserve just because we dont have the tech!

My friends we are to survive then Technology is the answere!

So how do we plan to go about it?

The Scientific Axis does not have a set political agenda, we will support who we know will put science high on the agenda, if that means the ACE then we will support the ACE, if it means the CDC, we will support them, we support whoever we think will do there best to fullfill the promise of tech at any cost.

We support using our Probe Teams to get tech our opponents have, more so if they are our enemies! How would you like it if the Hive started bringing there needljets upon us before we can retaliate?
We support limited war if we can gain tech from a stolen base.

And we do not want to rule out atrocities! People have said we are immoral, but we ask you this, just how can atrocities be used to gain tech? On there own, you cant, but if we must nerve gas a base to get at the tech before they overpower us, then so be it.

You can tell we are passionate, and so are YOU! Admit it, you know we need the tech to survivie, you can tell we will always keep that as our objective, you know that unlike parties with many names and titles, we have one clear and set goal.

We do not want to go around looking for trouble, we go around looking for knowledge.
