Hi guys !
I'm starting a new pbem game using a world map scenario for 8 players. We are already 5 we need 3 additional players for it. If interested, send your leader name, civ and email address to tronn@ifrance.com
I insist on the point that i want SERIOUS PLAYERS who have time to do it. Our objective is playing one turn a day. If you feel that you can handle that, you're welcomed in !

Hmmm sound intresting.
What are the civs going to start with and where are they going to be placed. Is this going to use the Apolyton map or a different one? Sorry for all the questions. I probally can play every night at about 11PM - 1AM EST
PS. did you ask Notsocomman he was trying to get a World PBEM going I think.

This is the 8 player world map scenario from Apolyton's pack. We start with one settler and are located exactly at the actual location of the civ in the world. That is what will make the game be fun.
From now we are 5 :
Tronn leader of the Japanese
Djazid leader of the English
Joshua leader of the Hebrews
Potsy leader of the Thai
Shavlor leader of the ...
Well, 3 players are wanted, now. I hope we 'll not wait for a too long time.

A new player has come. We welcome Notuncommon
in our game !
You need to give me your civ and leader name.
I think there is a misunderstanding about the way the game will go on. We are not going to met every day at the same hour. From my experience, this way of doing does not work correctly, or it works during the first week and crashes then. My suggest is the following: Give me the hour of the day or the period of the day ( from .. to .. )where you can check your emails, in GMT of course. I will then put the players in the good order, in a way to play one turn a day.

Everybody has to get Apolyton's pack (v 1.0 ), official patch 1.2, 1.21 unofficial patch. Then we 'll be sure that the game will work correctly.

I want to be the brazillians.
Demos there is no Welsh and if there was they would be real close to the English. I suggest you choose a different civ.

Thank you to Shavlor and Notuncommon for giving me the complete needed information so quickly. The others have to tell me fast how to replace all those "none". The faster i get those informations the faster we should start the game.

Ok then, I'll be the English.
I check my mail constantly, but the best bet for me is in the evenings, between 8pm and 2am GMT weekdays, and anytime weekends.

PlayTime:any time between 8pm - 12 pm EST (1am - 5am GMT)
(assuming we are using historical (not their staring locations on Apolyton 24 civ map.)
Civ: This is tricky. If noone else founds in North America then I want the Mayans. But if someone else does then I want the Egyptians, and hereby claim all of Africa  .
Someone please found in North America may I suggest the Mayans. Very good a most of North America will be yours. Demosthenes, Djazid Im reffering to either of you.

Well, it is, mmh..., 6:46 AM ( GMT ) and i'm starting tha game. I had to do a few modifications in civs assignment because i wanted to optimize the turns playing speed and to respect the historical locations.
Here is the final table. The order is the playing order. I will create a new topic for the turn posting.
Tronn plays with the Japanese
Notuncommon plays with the Viking
Demosthenes plays with the Celt
Sophix plays with the Arabian ( sorry ! )
Potsy plays with the Thai
Shavlor plays with the Dutch ( sorry ! )
Joshua plays with the Hebrew
Djazid plays with the Mongol
As you can see, America and Africa are free to conquer !

The set up is simple and clear : this is the actual world and you start at the actual historical location of your civ.
Do not forget to post your turn in the "Tronn3 turn posting" topic. If somebody has any problem to play his turn, just say it.
