Martin Rhodes Declares "Cape to Cairo" Route Area of British Interest
Cape Town.- In a proclamation to the world and ratified by telegraph by the House of Commons and the Foreign Office, Martin Rhodes, a well known colonialist from the Cape, has proclaimed that the route plotted for the Cape to Cairo railroad will be an area of British Interest and that any foreign encroaching upon this area will be deemed with great displeasure.
The Cape to Cairo railroad is a dream of not few entrepreneurs, merchants and adventurers and it is a dream that Britain is invariably compelled and destined to fulfil for the Greater Glory of Europe. With the railroad connecting Africa, commerce will be sped immediatelly and the light of civilisation will be able to light even the darkest corners of the African wilderness to bring joy and happiness to all men.
The route plotted has been declared to pass through the following native villages:
Dongola, Berber, Khartum, El Obeid, Sennaar, Fashoda, Gondokoro, Kampala, Bukavu, Kassango, Jadotville, Ndola, Lusaka, Bulawayo.

We will see, Britisher, we will see....
academia, no threat is implied, I mean we should talk about an acceptable border, and distrabution of towns, ect.
I have no intention of attacking the fine Portuguese people, but Madagascar was taken by our Legion and Chasseurs de afrique, and we are sensitive to the public opinion of France!
In fact, France might be interested in an Alliance.
Also, we support the Ottomans, and remind the English that they cannot engage a power for 7 more turns, and that blocking the Red Sea would be considered VERY unfriendly by the French government!
Viva La France!
