	Mac Gotm Support Apolyton

For anybody who's intrested, we've started a gotm for macusers athttp://forums.civfanatics.com/forum...p?s=&forumid=77.
This month we play a regent game on standart size with the chinese, v1.21 beta.

3 games are allready finished and under discussion now.

Regent is a little low, and I dont like civ fanatics center, but if the games were at monarch level and here on apolyton, I would gladly join.

Game #2 is monarch level w/ the Iroquois. You don't have to go to CFC's mainpage, just sneak into the mac-forum!

I was kicking around both sites, but here lately, I have been posting mostly at CFC. The mac community has really grown. Maybe if we can get MarkG to move the macintosh civ3 forum up into the main Civ3 area more mac-users could find it easier and get involved. Especially now, since there isn't patch parity w/ the PC version.

However, I was wrong. Game #2 is regent level, not monarch. Its an interesting game though: starting in South America on Matt's Earth Map w/ 12 civs.

if anybody is intrested, i've posted a deity starting location on which i've won with ac.
its 1.21g, medium map, continents 80% water, wet, raging, greeks with preserve random seed on.

well, apolyton shurely is a great site, and a lot of macusers seem to frequent this site, but on the other hand we get more posts in a day than macapolyton in a week!
and those are dealing with civ, not with upgrades, software and hardware.

especially now with the difference 1.21/1.29 it is usefull to discuss civ in a macforum and not in a pc forum.

because not a lot of people from apolyton joined our gotm on civfanatics, it might be a good idea to start one here also, but somebody has to do it and i stay at civfanatics (but would probably join here also).

by the way, the new gotm should start today and i think chances are not bad for playing monarch in the next game.

I'm an Apolyton player who's become a CFC Mac forum regular, simply because two weeks don't pass between posts on threads there. It's pretty easy to play Mac games in the Mac Tournament forum, and not run into whatever issues anyone may have with CFC in general. The Mac people there are nice to a fault.

Right, but who is featured in the chat? Is it MacSoft? I don't believe Firaxis will have any comments about a Mac version of PTW.
