News from the Front:
Intelligence reports were cut off today as one of our undercover agents, disguised as a slaver, disappeared. Officials have stated the agent is missing, presumed deceased. A day of mourning is proposed whereupon a posthumous awarding of the Cross of Demosthenes will also be delivered. Another undercover agent escaped the same fate as his comrade, claiming diplomatic immunity and returning safely to the luscious lands of Wales.
Battle testing of the new Welsh cannons has seen success. The bombardment of Caesarea has shown that musketeers are indeed slow to dodge falling cannon balls, one of whom proving this with his by his untimely demise.
More troops are expected to join the Eastern Front shortly, and public morale is said to be fully behind the campaign.

News from the Front:
Celebrations were ringing out across the Welsh nation today as the Welsh army struck it's first blow to the Roman empire.
Caeserea fell to the might of Wales, without the loss of any units. Demosthenes was said to be overjoyed at the result, claiming that it proved a victory for all oppressed people the world over. "Now is the time to rise up against T.A.F.K.A.B. The Mayans and the Welsh have shown that the Romans are not the invincible force they would have us believe".
Intelligence reports show that there is a goodly number of Roman forces heading towards the freshly liberated city of Caeserea. A number of musketeers have been noted, but it is beleived that the force now garrisoned inside Caeserea will be able to repel any form of counter attack.

Reports of the untimely demise of a Welsh cannon battalion have been confirmed today. Demosthenes was said to be upset by this setback, as the Welsh cannons have been proven most successful in the war against TAFKAB. More cannons are said to en route, looking to avenge their comrades.

The Sinless One is amazed! Two turns in one day, has the World developed Steroids?
In his Turnly Sermon to his Flock His Immaculacy warned that it might be neccessary for him to despatch Peace-Keeping Troops to troubled areas bordering Australia.
Australia cannot simply close her eyes whilst Cities are laid waste and lands pillaged. Please stay your hand's and turn from the path of violence. If Australia can prosper in her harsh and unforgiving lands without recourse to the Musket then surely others can.
You have my blessings upon your pilgimage Noble Demosthenes but I am concerned that lust may lurk within you. Be not tempted! Purity, chastity and self-denial are the only ways to achieve salvation.

Glorious St Jon,
The Welsh heed your warnings and would like to assure you of the sanctity of heart by which we are undergoing the cleansing of this continent.
Indeed, it is only this turn that the Welsh 'purified' three more Roman musketeers heading for the sacred town of Caerphilly to inflict more pain on the citizens after the heresy TAFKAB preached there.
Have no doubt that this is a holy pilgramage for us. We do not wish to disturb you from you own 'cleansing' of the savages in the lands of the north.
Dutiful St Jon, would you not agree that the sinful must be made aware of their sins if they are to repent?
