Turn 39 -> Slamp
"First Citizen, I bring news from Xoloc, the Exchange is ready to open!" Such news was almost to much for Swisazuma, the risk and sacrifice was about to be rewarded. But what of the Greeks? There have been many rumours, they to are nearing completion of an Exchange, could we be to late. He turned to the Foreign Minister, " What news of our mission to the Greeks?"
"It has been delayed by the Assyrians," replied the Minister, "I am sure just a misunderstanding."
"Sure, just a misunderstanding," interjected the Comander of the National Guard, " a misunderstanding on your part of the real intentions of our neighbors."

"Misunderstanding," the Assyrian foreign minister quips to one of his advisors, aftering learning of the Aztec statements.
"We didnt realize there was an understanding" he stammers.
"We discover this unannouced Aztec dignatary travelling through our lands." "We feel they owe us an explanation," he states.
"Did we agree to this?," he taps his head thoughtfully.
"We are not certain" the puzzled advisor stutters.
"Very well then" says the Minister.
"We wish no further strain to Assyrian/Aztec relations."
" We will allow this Aztec citizen to pass through Assyrian territory without further delay."

"Commander, I do not agree with your well known opinions on our neighbors."" I would thank you to keep..." the Minister paused as a messenger approached him. "Hmmm, it seems we have been at fault here, or shall I say The Commander's brother-in-law has caused the problem, he is leading the Greek mission," as a smile appeared on the Ministers face. " It seems he neglected to inform the Assyrians of his plans to cross to Greek lands, the Assyrian Foreign Minister has approved of his crossing." "Lucky for you your sister Commander, she almost became a widow," the Minister added with a wry smile.

Turn 40 relayed to Don
Southlands Military District HQ, outside of Milita.
"The assmbled crowd numbered into the the thousands. The opening of the Xoloc Exchange is already being hailed as the most important event in Aztec history. First Citizen Swisazuma addressed the workers, thanking them for all their hard work. He also announced the end of mandatory overtime, commenting on his hope the workers wives don't find out about their shortened workday, at least not right away. This brought an ovation of applause and laughter," The aide read from the Milita Chronicle.
The Commander gestured for the aide to stop reading, "yes, one more big triumph for the First Citizen. And while he parties in Xoloc , he seems blind to world events."" He still has not responded to my report on the possibility of a greek settlement appearing south of German lands, on this very continent.," he spoke as he examined the new weapons about to be tested. " Is everything prepared as I asked," he queried the young captain in charge of the test, one of the few dynamic officers Swisazuma had not managed to steal from the Guard.
"Yes Commander, the swine have been herded into the defensive works," the capatin responded.
"Very well, proceed."
"Gunners, load!"
The men leaped to action. The Commander was impressed by the sense of purpose displayed by the unit. The Southlands were the best recruiting grounds for the Guard, so close to the Assyrians and Germans.
"Set aim!"
"Fire"
A thunderous roars jolted the Commander. As the smoke cleared the party approached the smoldering bunker. As they enterd, the silence spoke volumes on the success of the test. Thirty swine were in the bunker, walls a foot thick. Two gaping holes were in the works. And no movement or sound came from within. The Commander smiled.

Swisazuma: You asked for a map exchange but not for a peace treaty...?
Assyria-Greece Boarders are available to anyone who wants them; just ask me to mail it to you.
Slamp: I am waiting for your answer to my offer. It won't be there forever...
Warning: Anyone who wants to enter Greek land must now officially ask permission for it. As Greek land is considered the whole continent between Assyria and Celts! Furthermore foreign ships are not allowed to approach the coast of the continent!!! I will not accept any excuse on this!!! Although Greece is still not able to ensure the above it won’t last long to do so. If any foreign ship is caught near my land this will have a great impact in Greece’s relationship with this country!
The above rules don’t count for the Greek colonies near Germany and in the newly discovered continent at the south of Assyria and Greece. As I was the first to discover the island I name it: Agnosia.
Swisazuma I am meanly talking about you. I saw a ship of yours near the German territory. I don’t now how the Germans can allow this but I don’t! BTW your diplomat has permission to enter my territory only if mine can do the same.
Greek government almost fall after the last minute failure to complete the London Exchange. Fortunately Greece was still able to complete East India Company, that way the hard work of Greek people wasn’t completely lost. But the latest polls show that a great percentage of 55% don’t think Tilemacho is the most capable of governing the country, although 75% approve his great plan to reach 40 cities in less than 30 turns.
