RollerCoaster Tycoon...review Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

http://www.gamespy.com/previews/august02/rctycoon2/

Haven't read it yet, but I thought there might be some inhere, who's interested

They seem to have some new screenshots (Or maybe I just can't remember how the old looked like

On the screenshots, you can (among other things) see a cowboy/indian theme and a sport theme...looks great

They don't mention much new, only that there will be a scenario builder in the game...

But on the RollerCoaster Tycoon forum (http://www.ina-community.com/forums...php?forumid=261) they mention, the map size is doubled

And even more screens:

Got spare money?

It all sounds great, especially the double map sizes. I was hoping for slightly more new graphics, but its certainly not a game breaker with this type of game.

I think they said they added more frames of animation to the rides, even in one rollercoaster alone in RCT2 theres more frames than in the whole GAME of the original.

Looks good, but if it comes out around the same time as Sim City 4 or Champ Man 4 then it will have to wait.

Support Apolyton, buy Alpha Centauri

RCT2 will be released October 15, while SC4 will be released November 20...at least, that's what www.gonegold.com says...

Tired of ads?

Noticed theyre US release dates, i dont know the exact difference to release dates in Europe(UK) though.

I expect RCT2 to be released early, although that doesnt happen often, those previews look much more far ahead than a October release would dictate. But it would feel better if they overrun, even a little.

I hope they do overrun on Sim City 4, especially as the detail and micro-managment was near non-existent in SC3K.

Ill end up buying them all anyway.

Yeah, but I'll (proberbly) get the game the day of release anyway, the warez version of gets out the same day (And some times even, the day the game goes gold). When the game hits the stores in Denmark, I'll buy it, but I don't want to wait several (extra) months to be able to play the game...
