Hello people, as science minister I shall make technologies for the looming war with france a top priority. We need Knights to run over our enemies and pikemen to defend our empire. Gunpowder is my goal to reach if I am elected. After the war with France we must build libraries in our largest cities and get into the Reneisance. I will work with the city planner and the Millitary adivisor if they have alternative ideas to mine (I bet UberKrux is drooling for Knights and Musketmen )

In fact, we're declaring war on France in-- *checks watch*-- 7 turns or so.

We need to strike now when they're weak (i.e. before they get Pikemen).

Maybe for later wars, though.
