Is there any way to add CTP and CTP2 units to Civ 3

It depends on what you mean by add units. New units can be added to CIV3 with the editor, but I guess you're really asking if the graphics will work. The quick answer is no since the graphics are different formats. The long answer is yes since you could convert them with a lot of effort but they wouldnt be animated without a huge amount of effort.

yes - but you need to go to Map > Set Active Player in order to place units and cities.
