	Ottoman UU Got spare money?

The Ottoman UU should be a heavy siege canon. Like the ones they used to capture Constantinople. There are too many UU that are footsoliders, it would be nice to have a change.

Hm... that would be a problem, as arty units cannot kill anything. Thus, Ottomans would be unable to trigger their GA by means of their UU winning a battle.

They *can* kill things if the flag is set in the Editor. Hence, a UU bombard unit could be validated if it was given the ability to have Lethal Bombardment.

More appropriate would something liike the Mamaluks or Janissaries.

One was a caste of warrior/slaves (conquered peoples trained to fight). The other was a series of eunuch warriors dedicated to defending the Sultan and his harem ... which is why they were eunuchs.

Another disadvantage of having a cannon as an UU is that cannons can be captured.

Actually, if the 'capturing nation' cannot build the unit (like if it is a UU), it will be destroyed, not captured. The American F-15 is destroyed by invading land units, so why would a UU cannon be more unfair?

Janissaries? whats that?? you mean January, what the heck does the month have to do with the UU?

Bring out the Siege Canons!!!

Isn't it believed the Hwacha will be the Korean UU, an artillery piece? If so, there would be at least one non foot soldier UU.
