Name Our Capitol Support Apolyton, buy Alpha Centauri

Since no one else has done so and I have nothing better to do untili we actually meet another civ and learn Writing, I'm polling this issue.

With our modest population, I felt it best to cut the nomination list down a bit (eliminating all my suggestions in the process).

Capitol was the suggested name. I'm just acting as secretary here.

For the record,

CAPITOL
1. The ancient temple of Jupiter on the Capitoline Hill in Rome.
2. The building in which a legislature assembles.

CAPITAL
1. A town or city that is the official seat of goverment.
2. Wealth in the form of money or property.

In school, I was taught: Capitol building in capital city.

We can discuss spelling later if this choice wins. Please note that AFAIK Civ2 does not use alternate character sets, so umlauts and accents are not worth discussing.

BTW, this is a 3-day poll -- ends midday Sunday Chicago time.

On my copy of Civ2 MP Gold for Mac accents and other weird characters work just fine. And please do spell it right.
