Personally, I would prefer that no trait combination (or individual trait) be overrepresented.
But hey, that's just me.

I would like at least one more militaristic/industrial civ. As of right now, there is only one; the Chinese.

Yeah, especially when you have lots of room, Expansionist lets you explore and optimally settle land quickly, and Commercial keeps your large empire more productive. A huge Pangea map would probably be best for England. Rather ironic, given that it's on an island in Real Life. Hm. Maybe if the English had started out on a continent, they would have conquered the world. (They did make a nice attempt, though, the Britich Empire covered one quarter of the world's land at one point, if I'm not mistaken.)
I think Scientific is the worst trait in the game, though.

Twenty-one. With eight traits, there are twenty-eight two-trait combinations. Nine traits, thirty-six. Notice the progression?
