Just to clarify...

The 24hr rule I've seen in action is quickly opening the offending Civ's turn (without peeking!) and pressing the 'End' button...

I don't get it. I have to get up every morning at 8:00, go for work and return home at 7:00 or even at 9:00, eat somethink and then do some work at home also. Do you think that it could be easy to play 2 or more PBEMs every single day? What if you have a girlfriend too? Should I say to her sorry I won't see you today because I have to play Call to Power? Or should I give up work to play? I don't know what you guys doing but it seems that some of you are sitting for hours in front of a computer waiting to deliver the turn. Why don't you start then so many PBEMs together so you won't have the time to complain about a turn that won't be delivered daily?

Oh what a sob story!!!

I get up at 7:30am and also don't get home until 7pm... (Reminds me of a Monty Python sketch!) I also have a girlfriend and my PC is spending it's time falling apart right now! I'm usually only on the PC for an hour tops though I do check each night - my girlfriend is in the middle of multimedia exams!

Yet I still RESPECT the other players enough to keep up with the game. Just how long does it take to check for a turn??? How long does it take to play a World Scen turn??? Ten mins tops!!! What's the matter are you too important to waste ten lousy minutes on the rest of us!!?

You know, the one thing that REALLY gets up my nose is that at the beginning of the game you actually had a turn for TWO DAYS and couldn't be bothered to play it and send it on!!!

It is also funny how you answered the thread the moment you're critised - Two posts in one day must be a World Record for you, so it was just as well I was sitting down when I saw the second one as otherwise I might have hurt myself!!!

Also it would have been nice if you'd had the decency of playing your final turn as you resigned instead of throwing your petulant little tantrum... I'm assuming that's why Krzysztof hasn't sent his turn...?

The most satisfying thing about sending this post is knowing that your selfish over-inflated ego is going to make you read this post first thing tomorrow morning... I'm just wondering if you can help yourself from replying...?

Keygen if you can't manage to check your email once a day and play your turn then I think it would be best if did resign. Nothing personal just that there is 6 players in this game right now and tends to go real slow. If you have to resign I am sorry to see you go you are quite a good CTP player as can be proven by the fact that you were the first person to ever win a PBEM game, namely DMM ver 1.0

Mobius if you have any rejecting to my coments please don't post them on this forum rather email me or Keygen since I don't want to start a hugh flame war on my topic.

This is just a game and not an arena, Mobius. There is no reason to fight each other anywhere else but in the game itself. I don't know you, I have never see you in my life and I don't have any personal problems with you. I DON'T want to fight with you. And I can reply fast because I can view this page from my job as I have a computer in front of me all the time (Computer software tester)but I can't install & play CTP there.
Yes, I might haven't played some turns by my mistake and I apologize. It is not that I don't respect you guys but some times I get out and don't bother for the turn. I think most of us do that some times.
But the most of times I realy don't have even a single hour to spend as Mobius or anyone of you might have. I do a second job, not daily but quit offen and I really don't have the time.
Before I get that job (March) I was able to play a turn a day and I did, Shavlor knows.
I would like to continue playing this PBEM, but some times I won't be able to play the turn within 24 hours. I will give priority to this PBEM instead of the other two I am already playing. I only suggest that when Arthur sends the turn to send it to Creator also so to play my turn if I haven't in the last 24 hours. Please respond all of you if you agree or not with this suggestion. If not, then I will resign.

BTW, I did played the turn yesterday and send it before Mobius answer, and I will continue to play it and send it even if I resign until you find a replacement.

President Keygen accepts Saka's honorable in public apology and apologizes too for his behavior.
The American Goverment will review its opinion about the great Zulu nation and consider seriously to propose to the Congress a further collaboration with the King Saka of the Zulus.

This is outrageous! My phone company sent the bill to my old house although I transered it to my new house and as I didn't get it in the new house and didn't pay it they cut off my phone!
Sorry guys but due to this problem I will be able to check my mail only once per day in the weekend from a friend's house so if there is no turn there at that moment I won't play it until next day.
The phone was cut off yesterday, and I went to my friend at night and I didn't found the turn in my mailbox. So I had to install the game today at work after I had finished working (at noon), play it and send it. It was a bit risky though (you know, the ...boss) but I finally managed it.

BTW Arthur, in my country there is no holiday at weekend so I don't have any problem to play in the weekend (with the above exception) so it's up to the others.
