Turn 78 ==> Jon
Caligula, you will be pleased to note that Welsh merchant vessels have left Roman waters, but should you feel the need to bestow upon the Welsh people you're newly updated maps then hopefully my sailors will not stray where they are not supposed to.

So where back to war Mobius. Oh well this war will not be cheap. Our armies are ready for the assault and we meet you land or sea.

Caligula, the Welsh request that this knowledge of Conservation be passed down to all nations, as all nations will suffer the effects of increased atmospheric pollution.

Turn 80 ==> Jon
Comrades, let us build mighty new structures that touch the sky. Let us make our island safe, so that no for can rend us asunder. Wales has seen the light, down with the bourgeoisie, long reign the proletariat.

Turn to Mobius.
Yet more death. What a sad waste of men and materials.

Turn 80 --> Sophanthro
The King of Assyria and the Barbarian Jon seem to agree on something after all: It is a terrible waste of men.
When this day you killed in cold blood our Diplomat who was merely standing innocently on the Assyrian mainland gazing at the waves, that is a terrible waste. Not to mention that it is the act of an outlaw nation.
When you annihilated every man, woman and child in the former city of Panama, a city built legally on Assyrian soil, that was a terrible waste. As well as the act of a war criminal.
And when you send your own civilians into harms way to build a city on the very site where you butchered the people of Panama, and use your people as human shields in a war-zone, that is also a terrible waste of human life. You must take responsibility for the loss of their lives this turn.
Today we have returned to the site of the former Panama, where on its ashes it will be rebuilt, taller and fairer than ever. So send your soldiers back from Assyrian soil, Jon of the Incans, unless you want to have a greater waste of human life on your conscience.
Oh, and when you sent your Destroyer today with the intent to bombard our soldiers, that WOULD have been a waste of Assyrian lives, but for the valour of the Captain of our 2 linked SOLs who sank it this turn. I guess I was mistaken in the last post...there still was an Incan navy.

Turn 81 ==> Demosthenes
Yes some cities have been lost but, it was necessary loss. Egypt will bring no overtures for peace at present, are armies could not defend the north but the south is well garisoned. We have no interest in signing an accord which will only serve to allow Rome to sit back and refortify, and then attack the peaceable peoples of Egypt.

Turn 82 ==> Jon
The people of Wales celebrated today, as the stability and fruits of their new government became apparent. A recent survey of the public indicated that approval of the new regime is widespread, and the advanced pace of production and construction that our Comrades have brought is bringing out the best in the public's potential.
However, with the ever-increasing threat that global-warming brings, especially to an island race such as ourselves, the increased productivity of a Communist government means that construction of environmentally friendly structures, such as recycling plants, can be achieved much more quickly.
This comes as some relief to many in Wales, as whilst 97% of the Island of Wales is now populated and utilised, many of the towns and cities are located on the coast.

Turn 83 ==> Jon
It is with great regret that Wales has now lost it's borders with Egypt. Wales has always viewed Egypt with fondness, we have always had a friendly relationship, none of this war and bloodshed that we see spanning the globe today. Perhaps if you saw the truth and allowed your downtrodden to take the reigns of power, then we could be true comrades again, regardless of distance.
Great Pharoah, as I do not wish you to lose any more cities, take care that a wandering barbarian is prowling the forests east of Oryx, my ambassador who has become lost and dissillusioned managed to get word to Cardiff that these uncouth and smelly visigoths are armed with cannon.
But Sophix, great Pharoah of the Nile, I impeach you, in acknowledgement of my Ambassadors service to your nation, could you please send him home henceforth. I hate to see a comrade lost and so far from home, especially when such hostile bandits lurk in the trees.

Turn to Mobius.
Once again the Inca are the victim of as unprovoked attack.
As an aside might I enquire as to the origin of the word 'Incan'? It does not exist by any standard of English that I know of.
A linguistically perplexed High Priest.
