I gave all of you sufficient warning that the CBS system requires that all picks be in prior to the first game, whenever it is (Thursday, Saturday...)

Reis, no system is perfect, I couldn't even get in till 24 hours before game time, it's the price we pay for being to lazy to do manual totals

Nahhh... It's more simple than that. We agreed to use CBS to make things easier. One of the things they ask is that you make your picks before the first game of the week. If you weren't aware of that, you were oblivious.
I don't think that it is asking too much since that's how MOST pools work.

So are we going by CBS tallies or some adjusted Reis tally? I'm not sure...didn't it work out last year that people were winning overall as a result of not making as many picks and therefore having a better overall percentage or something?
If that's the way it works, there are a few games a week I'd pass on, just 'cause they are so tough to call.
I think that the final analysis should be based on what teams have picked all the games...

Reismark, do the team tallies take the average of all team members like last year? If so, missing a week would only handicap Team Rush if I had a winning week.

Just for 1st game of season -- They're already targeting the "new" Soldier Field for next year. There does seem to be an increased focus on finding prime-time slots. Keeps the advertisers happier.

More time slots = more games to watch. I'm down with that!
