Not bad seraphin,
I have a japan map too. And Japan is very tough to do considering the limitations in the map editor and it's natural non.... vertical/horizontal status on the globe.
What I did was to "flatten" it to an extent.
looks nice though,

Isn't it rather small for 16 civs? But I still like it. Should make for some early and good fighting for land.
