Hello Omega Seraph,

I just started, also, about a week ago and figured out, (with a little help from my friends), how to do it. You can see the dialog of the start-up of the new game that I'm in, under the topic "How about some one-on-one?".

You have to download and install the Call to Power (CTP)1.2 patch in order to use the PBEM feature. If you read the READ.ME files that come with the patch download, it helps understand the new functions.

Let me know if you want to start a game up and what scenario options you like.

If you go to the Apolyton CTP site and the to download you can find the patchs you need plus anything else you want. You first need to download Patch 1.2 and Hack Patch 1.21 and install them. I'd also suggest downloading and installing Apolyton Pack. If you need any help let me know. My e-mail address is:

Well, count me in. I will help you, when you give me a list of players. If you want me to create a scenario, I will do this, but then I will be the game host. Wait for other guys, and when the player list is done, I will help you all, together with Quinns.

Okay Solver, another one looks like it's starting up. Let's see what Arch-Druid comes up with as a scenario in the next few days before we go any further.

Arch-Druid, please check out the topic under "PBEM Ladders" and let us know if you are interested in this game being a Rated CTP PBEM game. Good luck with the scenario. I'll be "Quinns of the Native Americans".

I suggest name of this game to start with R2_... (for 2nd rated game).

Yes, let's assume Archr knows how to set up PBEM scenario, as some people by error create a good scenario for single player. Thanks, Quinns, hope to have another rated game. Have you posted at How about some?

Sorry, this is not serious. You first need to speak about the game settings, only then turn to scenario. Le's first decide num,ber of players and settings.

Right. I suggest 50/50 map settings for all terrain and goods attributes, EXCEPT Continental / Islands which would be interesting at 80% Island (I think that would see more naval warfare, as you mentioned earlier, Solver). King Level. Raging Hordes. Blood Lust Off. Five Players. Game Name: R2_Islands. Rated Game (see PBEM Ladders). I'll represent Quinns of the Native Americans.

Nice settings, agreed, I like these when vs. AI. Well, I can create the scenario as well, if you sayn what kind of quickstart will we use. I will represent Solver of Spanish.

I just have some time for another PBEM. So if you still have free places, count me in. I am Aaginor of the inca.

And, I really would like to play in deity-mode, but if you all do not like this, it will be ok. But please tell me, by which size the cities are starting to overcrowd with that setting ... I only know the deity number ...

Aaginor, it's nice, but you have said you're sceptic about the PBEM ranking and ladder system, but we're gonna make the game rated, so please take that in account.

My suggestion is that if Archr-Druid doesn't appear in a next few days, we start without him. What kind of quicksatrt will we use? More gold? Perhaps I'll even figure out how to add units not rvealing the map. If not, I'll add the same old 5000 gold, do you all like this?
