I didn't have any trouble with happiness. I just want to warn the newbies not to choose the first settler suggested to settle their capitol and not make more that 8 cities from the start.

But if you want - I'll send you a copy of the scenario.

The game will be launched tomorrow - I'm still missing one player. I will use my mister Nobody if I havn't got another before

Hi Frazer.

Just send you an E-mail with no subject.

Unzip the files/folders in the scenariofolder.

Copy the map.txt and the const.txt to your default folder before you start a testgame (keep a copy of the original).

When you have played the first turn, the mapsettings are in the csg-file and you can copy the original map.txt and const.txt back.

And a reminder: as this game will be rated, the last player should take a screenshot of powergraph in the end of turns 9, 19, 29 and so on. TheBirdMan, please put a human in a last position, as he will need to take the screens.

Arthur - you have not even responded to my "accuse" of being "off-line" of many of the games you are in.

So this is not a nice mail - and no - you are not in!

Meaning we will have to start this game with 2 temporary humans (turned to AI's the first one or two turns until we find someone regular players) or forget about this tread!

Alright great! Solver we need to rate Fraze and Krash. Kralj has already mentioned that he has beaten King Level AI.

Fraze and Krash, what is the highest CtP AI level you ever defeated? Chieftain to Deity. We need this in order to rate you in the CTP PBEM Ratings and Rankings.

I would like to take this game with 8 players, cause that gives most "combinations" of ally/enemy. I'm still most of launching this game with 2 "no-body" human, who will be turned to AI's the 1.st turn.

I have seen, that Arthur "is still alive". I would allow him one of the seat IF HE PROMISE TO LOOK AT THE FORUM REGULAR AND TAKE HIS TURNS REGULAR!

AND - most important of all - tell the other players, if he for some reasons - reason of or not of our business - can't take his turn for xx days. This should anyway be a MUST to every player.

Arthur: Pls post here to accept!

And the rest: Do the same!

Else - I will forget about this tread and don't read it anymore.

Hey TheBirdman take it easy we are mostly reliable players here .

I once beat the AI at emperor level but I just got a massive start, a big island to myself, and just all the luck you can get in one game. I've never come close since in many attempts.

No offense - just that I'm a little (lie - much) frustrated, when a game is stalled for a week or 2 - without any (known) reason.

Special when I see, the one we are "waiting for" is posting somewhere else on Apolyton. And believe me - I have seen this more than 5 times during the last ½ year, where I have played pbem games.

That's why, I trying to "commit" you to follow the game on the forum and/or to send a turnpost.

See, most of "us" are the same people and 2 more games might be too much. We only want to start one - which one is the question.

Yikes! What did I start? More animosity? Let me try to iron this out.

Let's leave "R2_Islands" alone. We've got that game back on track now (I think) and the majority of the players seem to want to leave it as is.

Regarding "War Game" and "How about some", I vote to:

1) Dump "How about some" (Solver, TheBirdMan, St Jon, Quinns);

2) Use St. Jon's recommendations for the "best" accelerated start tested (which one was that again?);

3) Keep the original 7 players in "War Game" (TheBirdMan, Solver, Arthur, Kralj Matjaz, Fraze, Krash, and Quinns) and add St. Jon to this game making it an even 8 players.
