If Solver doesn't come through by Tuesday, I'll "next" him. He e-mailed me stating that he was very busy and that he will send the turns Tuesday.
Regretfully,
Quinns

This game moves like a stuck possum.

Solver,
Did you send the turn to Birdman? If so, then Birdman is delinquent. That's rare. Did you see that he changed his e-mail address?

Agreed, neither TheBirdMan nor Solver is delinquent.
It gets confusing when posts are not made to this topic after sending a turn. It seems that the game is stalled rather than just mis-sent. Mis-sent turns become obvious when the post reads "Turn sent to ..." and the receiver doesn't get it.

Ay! I was hoping the ADMINISTRATOR, of all people, would support me on turn notification. Guess not. I know it takes a long time, sometimes, to post on this forum. What should then be our policy on this "forum turn notification" regarding rated games? Sometimes you can post and sometimes you don't? I would rather not post unless I had something to say, but I do anyway.
Is there, perhaps, some better way to notify all players that the turn was sent? I have to wait 10 minutes sometimes to post one message on this forum... and I have a cable modem with speeds (supposedly) at 3 million bits per second!

Arthur, I'm afraid we are going to have to A/I you if you don't respond by 20-NOV-2000 14:44 Apolyton time (72 hour limit).
St Jon, if Arthur doesn't notify this topic, "How about some", by 14:44 today (Eastern United States "Apolyton" Time), please A/I him and send the turn to me. At that time, I'll put up a notice for a replacement player.

Arthur's player turned into a computer player. St Jon, please send A/I'd turn to steveq@gte.net. Thanks.

Any takers for replacements? If not, maybe we can start over with all of the active players from "How About Some" and "R2_Islands". That is: Solver, King Thor, Aaginor, St Jon, TheBirdMan, and Quinns. That's a six player game with a good group. Anybody want to do this? We can make it a very accelerated start with 4 stacks composed of 2 stacks of settlers and 2 stacks of warriors placed in a two by two tile square. 30% land, 80% islands. Just a thought.
