	Area 25 - The War Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

This thread does not exist.

The war might change things. For one, we might be able to demand Monotheism in a peace treaty. Here is a review of the current projects I am considering. The gunpowder rush was renamed Project Dora because of the situation with the Germans.
Might change the name again. I'm not too attached to it. It also really doesn't go with the other two names.

I. Project Lain:
1. Feudalism
2. Monotheism
3. Chivalry

II. Project Dora:
1. Engineering
2. Invention
3. Gunpowder

III. Protocol Eiri:
1. Monotheism
2. Theology
3. Education

I am wondering if the war has affected any of your views on the tech situation. We should be done with Feudalism in the next 15 turns or so.

Also, since Geofront is in danger Area 25 might have to move to an undisclosed location.

The war with all three will be over in a short time, unless those that are blind sway the final decisions.

Engineering is the first priority.

Pacifist, Builder, Warmonger. Engineering is the most vital thing to them all, with our rivers the speed at which our workers, reinforcements, and assault forces can traverse our jungle will be extremely crucial.

I second the motion for Area 25 to move to an undisclosed location.

As for the serious stuff, I'll be doing a fuller analysis of what's happened within the next day or two, and as part of that, I'll be thinking about stuff like this, and will post my opinions then (once I've had time to think about them ).

We are starting to lag behind, specially in government techs. I say that getting a better govenment tech should be priority nymber 1. We have over 400 gold, and both the Greeks and English have Monarchy, and I think also the Romans. Even if no one want to switch to republic (I do, and it would be cheaper since evryone but us, the Iriquois and the Americans have it), we desperately need to stop being a depostic regime and Monarchy is our solution to that.

I spent over an hour thinking about this today. The only concrete decision I came to was that Dora is a fine name that I'm keeping.

I am still not switching in the middle of Feudalism research.

Plans for tommarow....I am going to make a poll with a comprehensive guide on the two projects and one protocol. This unofficial poll will be used to get a better feel to see if opinions have changed since the war. There will be a more official poll in 10 days or so.

EDIT: I'm an idiot. The science rate is already down to 10%. No help there for the war effort.

Well, I think the recent events have told us that we must have a strong mobile force to treat invasions quickly and effectively. A few knights stationed in strategic locations can protect our borders more efficiently.
But that's not really a new thought. And it has nothing to do with the peace with France.

We need knights. Shiber is right, the knights will greatly help us defend our borders. Im my experiance, a few knights can defend a great amout of land, especially with roads.

build knight but i think ,somehow, we have to get republic as soon as possible. we need to get gunpowder as soon as possible so project Dora would suit me best and cant we get republic from an other faction?

Possibly after we get peace from Germany and Persia. It wouldn't mind having a boost in research from Republic. The problem is that right now it is too expensive.

I don't think it will come that soon but it doesn't matter much anymore since we already have that tech.

You're comments on Chivalry and Military Tradition are useless since they don't say why we need them so quickly and why trying to make a b-line for those is more important than another line of techs.

by the time we have cavalry we should be going back to war , ....

with cavalry we can put a great leap forward , .....

in the mean time we should focus on growth and infrastructure , ....

in the mean time 8-12 knights should be good , ....
