Thanks to both shade and Darkness' Edge for sharing their compelling, logical reasons to vote for their favored candidates. I, however, shall make my choice based on the following...

Hydey =

A -- Always Around, And Australian
S -- Seniority, Service (C2DG member from the beginning)
S -- Strong Skills (as Civ2 player)

Plus, I was definitely the first person to call him "Presidential timbre."

This was truly a tough decision for me. Hydey has been floating around on the periphery of leadership for a long time. yet ixnay is also an obviously qualified candidate.

I finally decided that I wanted to see if Hydey would fall on his face in the job. He's "talked the talk", let's see if he can "walk the walk".
