If Bush attacks, he does so with only the support of his right-wing cronies in his administration and congress. Even the more moderate Republicans are backing away from it.

Could he possibly be so stupid as to continue with the action anyway? Could he really be so reckless as to continue with the invasion when pretty much everyone in the world, and a majority in the U.S., say no?

We'll see...it will depend on the economy. If it improves, expect the talk of war and invasion to dissipate into memory. If it doesn't, I bet they keep beating their ineffectual war drums.

If he annoced he wanted to attack, say Canada, you would have a point, but a country that is a known US enemy, terror supporter and constantly defies the UN resolutions against it?

Funny how our country didn't say too much when Hussein used gas in the late 80's. The enemy of my enemy......

I dont even know what the big stink about Iraq is. We should be more worried about North Korea. Their WMD capabilities are much further along, and they have a greater capability to directly attack the lower 48 than Iraq will ever have. Why does diplomacy seem to be the approach with North Korea, but Hussein is now considered the Hitler of the ME?

Give me a break. I'm American. Criticizing the outrageously irresponsible actions of Bush & Co. isn't attacking the Unites States. It's attacking Bush doctrine, which I find deplorable.

I am pro-America, anti-current stupid American regime. As much as you might want Bush to somehow be synonymous with America, he isn't. He's just the current baffoon in charge.
