Found in datalinks: "So, I'm watching this local-to-the state-of-Oregon program called "High Five Challenge" yesterday (Sunday 29/9/02). It is an academic game show where teams from Oregon high schools compete for prizes for their schools. While being introduced, one of the high school kids playing the game lifts up a sign saying "All Your Base Are Belong To Us" (!!). I was stunned. I imagine that little movie has been seen by thousands of people by now, but the odds of me seeing that still seem infintisimal."

Hmm... talking of Absinth here, earlier, I did get my first touch to that stuff yesterday.

So, they do serve absinth in bars here, too. But just one glass (hmm... 4cl, I'd say. Not sure) cost me damn 10 euros and 10 cents and that's just robbery

And it was a disappointment, anyway. No hallucinations. Damnit. But, still, it kinda "kicked in" more than regular booze. I had some 4-5 drinks earlier but I was, indeed, as drunk as I would've been after 10-12 after that absinth. Still... I know it isn't the same, "real" stuff they used in France at the end of the 19th century...

Can we ever have those days back?
