	king wang kon of the koreans?!! :( Support Apolyton, buy Alpha Centauri

Why isn't king sae jong the leader of the koreans. and i can't really tell from the screenshot TOO well, but it doesn't even look like that guy is wearing traditional korean style clothes. maybe somewhat vaguely oriental at best.

wang kon? i can kinda understand why they picked him, he did unify korea into the koryo dynasty... but in that case, why didn't they use his historical name, Taejo?

but yeah, i agree with you, ck-- i think it should have been Sejong. why? because it was under Sejong that korea went through a sort of enlightenment, with much scientific development...

and as for his appearance... he doesn't look korean at all, and his dress looks western...

ah, well. we can always mod it.

not quite.

the problem is, in korean, there are a lot of one syllable words whose meanings change, depending on context:

example:

sung == star
sung == last name
sung == gender

Ah, see at least I have heard of Taejo. But I still think Sejong should be the leader. He will be in MY game anyway.

Heck, out of all the korean leaders, he's the only one refered to as "the great." King Sejong the great. That should tell you something, firaxis!

thats why they made joan leader of france, they needed more women leaders.

obviously this game had a lack of evil vampire lords that needed to be filled before people started complaining.

Hey! Wang Kon is a great choice! However, I think it would have been better to have called the guy Taejo. Wang Kon was his actual name, used when he was still just a general, and not a king. Other than that, it's OK. He looks OK, I think.

Well if any race deserves it do be in the game than it should be the Transformers. I nominate myself as the leader, there should be a civ called Decepticons. Otherwise it isn't politically correct.
