I doubt we will have very much use for 2-2-2 rover if we get into a real war (i.e. not just a skirmish a few minutes after meeting someone). It would be more useful just to test the new components that have been recently developed.

Yeah! I second that. Build 2-1-2, not 2-2-2. A lot of people who votes "Yes" on prototyping thought it would be an unarmoured rover.

Let's at least make sure our weapons are already prototyped so our response can be more swift if we are attacked. FM or not, offensive weapons are needed to repel invaders from our territory - we just don't need to tie up production with lots of them right now.

Why? Weve only discovered one faction near us that doesnt seem to be heavily armed, and if we prototype everything we probably won't use half of them. I doubt we'll be at war until we have at least impact, if not missile weapons. I say we prototype the latest weapons as soon as we get a whiff of trouble (most conflicts can be fortold by a turn or 2), but until then build up our bases with enhancements and the like, so that we have more building power and options when it comes to the need to fight.

The problem is that we're just getting to the point where we can gain access to all sorts of juicy builder techs, which will take the same focus away from military techs that we have little use for currently (especially if we switch to FM before Morgan attacks us).

Going for Synthetic Fossil Fuels sounds good, especially as it enables Air Power. High Energy Chemistry, the first tech on the way, will give us the chance to revolutionize our defenses. If coupled with the Citizen's Defense Force, nothing Zakh could land before cruisers would be able to touch us.

Director DeathByTheSword, I have a request for you. Drone problems are getting out of hand in the Jedinica region. Concordia has a lot of poverty and many welfare payments (doctors) are needed.In two years my social analysts predict similar problems in Pandemonium. For the long run I am working on solutions to solve the root cause of these social problems, but in the short run the only thing I can rely on is repression and more police on the street. Therefore I'd like to request better equipment for the police forces in Concordia and Pandemonium, more specific an upgrade from the regular 1-1-1 scout patrols to 1-1-1 police forces with the non-lethal methods ability. A pre-study of my staff tells me this will cost 40 energy credits. Would you be willing to authorize this upgrade?
