The Swordsman never fortifies with a sound. Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations

Probably some hardcoded bug, because the swordsman.ini file seems okay. So does the swordmanfortify.mp3 file (some files are called swordsman* and others swordman*, but these names are consistent with related files, and renaming doesn't help).

Any Firaxis guys working on this?

yes, this is definitely something that needs to be remedied.

it's nice to see someone not bashing firaxis for "bad design", "bad blah blah blah blah"....

Got spare money?

I solved that problem by using the spearman fortify sound instead. It works now! Not quite sure why the Swordsman SFX doesn't work, but it's definitely not a hardcode thing.

MY poor computer can't handle sound AND gameplay.
