Can anyone tell me why the message "WinG load failure. Error:2" came up when I tried to start CivII? I tried to install a game requiring a 3-D video card which I now know I do not have. The problem started right after that even though I uninstalled the game. Thanks if you can help.

The uninstaller probably removed the WinG.dll file which civ2 requires to run. Download the file from the net and put it in your \windows\system folder.
