re:guns and planes sinking ships Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

How do I add the attribute of "lethal sea bombardment" to my cannons, artillery, and bombers without deleting their other special attributes? When I use the editor to edit the rules for units and click on the line that reads "lethal sea bombardment" the highlighting of all other special unit attributes in that box become un-highlighted.

Don't feel bad, it messed me up too before I figured it out.

Suffering from ads?

When I tried Shift-Click, it highlighted all the entries between what was already highlighted and what I clicked on. Now, why would it do that? And why should we need to hold a key down to select multiple entries? Surely more than one entry will be selected for many units?

But anyway, thanks for letting us know the correct way to do this.

Got spare money?

It's Ctrl-Click, not Shift-click. It's just like when you select files in Windows Explorer or the like. Ctrl click is used for selecting a few attributes, whereas shift click will select all atributes between the currently selected attribute and the one you click on. Hope that helps.

Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

That is the standard list box's extended multiselect, the other options are none (you can only select one item), simple, and check (in both you have to click on each item and can't use Shift to select more of the list at a time).

Thank Microsoft. This is standard behavior for a vanilla list box.

Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations: Deluxe Edition

Lethal sea bombardment should be the standard for missiles and planes in PTW, I feel.

Because that is the way that Windows deals with all multiple selections. Almost very single program that has such a feature does it in the exacty same way.

That's because it's built into the OS.
