it seems as if whenever i refresh after posting in a thread, it comes up marked as unread-- even if i'm the one who's written the last post... is there a way to mark them as read in this case?

to be more clear--

i open a thread marked as unread. i read it, and post. i see that i am the last poster in that thread. i then return to the forums. this thread is now marked as unread, but the last post is listed as mine...

so is there a way of either marking them as read or some such?

no. i browse with multiple windows; i use one to keep the forum open, and then browse the actualy tread in a different window, and use quick reply.

i suppose this might be a case of OE, but it's not so much an error as wanting to see if there's a way around it...

delete everything with www.cyberscrub.com , delete the hard drive with the os , the reformat and reinstall , ...

its only there for so many minutes , ....

it helps to reload , ....

and no problem with several windows open , ....

ADG , what browser do you use , ....

could "style" have something to do with it , ...

It helps to reload most of the times, but sometimes I see a day old thread (were I was the last to post) still marked as unread, though it's not that often...

I use IE6

I have the same as Q Cubed. Especially, but not exclusively, with multiple windows open. It is quite annoying when you think someone answered to your post and after loading nothing is there.
