We might not need one - being a random game, how about we try without for now - if it doesn't work then we put up a call for one.

Ok, I will [attempt to] set up the game, DilithiumDad doesn't seem to be responding to his comlink frequency.

I will wait until after the weekend for a response - otherwise it will be the three of us (FonnParr, Blut0 and dacole) SMAC, random, large, average, standard, where dacole isn't Miriam.

It might be difficult adding it to an existing tournament as those all included four players so the scores would not be fairly comparable.

We could probably have this in a new 3 players league.

Either way, I'll start the game today, and if everything works out ok then we'll see if we can get this into a tournament somehow.

To anyone wondering why there is no response: I am officially in retirement as CMN and tournament administrator, and have been so since July - see this thread for the announcement. The tournament as such is also over, although a few games are still running.

Unfortunately I had not updated the contents of this thread, or of the rules and results thread, to make my retirement clear to those who were not around at the time of the announcement. This has now been rectified.

If anyone wants to use this thread as a generic "opponents wanted" thread, they may, though it would probably be more sensible to start separate threads for that purpose.
