there sort-of was in the beginning
but they were more for roleplay purposes
then everyone forgot

it's a good thing, though...i like having a partyless game

tomcat ha, you are more than welcome to start a political party. But I think you can see that most of our ppl have minds of their own.

The policital parties from Game One sort of ran their course and no one has seen fit to go that route again. Some were semi-serious (pro-constitution, for instance), but most (Sodaquistas, pro-camel environmentalists) were really more about agitation and post count than anything else.

After all, we're here to have fun! (oh, and kick some AI buttinski while we're at it.)

I think UnOrthO and I (apolitical Prez and VP) killed the Civ3 game political parties.

That forum owes us BIG time.
