	How do i run SMAC in Win XP? Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

Installed Win XP on my computer and wanted to play a round of SMAC. But SMAC refuses to work under XP. Any sollutions? (I can't go back to Win 98 cause I'm not owner of the computer.)

There is a thread around here somewhere with a few things you can do. The first thing is to edit the ini file by adding the line "forceoldvoxel...." (the actual line is quoted properly in the other XP thread). This will get you over the first hurdle where the game will not recognize your pentium 4. After that you will get a message which warns you that your processor is not supported, but you have the option to continue anyway.
