Breaking in...

You know Jon and David, this brings up a good point related to rated game finishes. Jon, your "Tedium" comment started me thinking. What if (in rated games only) we say that, "if a player's Power Graph is clearly FOUR times larger than the next closest player, then GAME OVER". All players beneath the winner are ELIMINATED according to the Elimination Rule.

This would allow the losers to save face, saying something like, "Well, if it wasn't for that stupid rule, I would have come back and beat you!", while at the same time allowing the game to come to a merciful end. What do you all think?

The Primitives have, I think they are No2, been detached, as must be the senses of he who wouldst be their Cheiftan, so it's business as usual. It is heartening that their final act under the AI was to relieve the Barbarians of Aalburg and so save us the bother.

Victories upon all fronts!

At last the Salvation Army has crossed the mountains and liberated Melborne from the 'Forces of Darkness'. The happy citizens lined the streets to welcome in their liberators. It is good that the fruits of Heretic science also contributed to the English knowledge pool for now we can abandon gas lighting and candles.

In the North the Primitives were relieved of the problems of garrisoning Cherokee as it returned to the fold. As promised the Savages were afforded a fitting funeral pyre, along with all their worldly goods and close family members, they make poor slaves anyway being idle and ill-educated.

The Barbarians were not left out as Bergan too was freed from tyranny though, sadly, there few left to massacre so the numbers had to be made up from amongst the civilians. They understood the need to participate in the celebrations and died with smiles upon their faces.

The remnants of the Australian 2nd Army have finally returned with tales of vastly overwhelming numbers of demons dressed as human soldiers. The stories told of endless waves of soldiers throwing themselves into the face of death has sent shudders through the peaceful folk of the great Australian cities of Sydney and Brisbane

The Australian 1st Army is preparing itself for the last great battles of this terrible war. They have prepared themselves for death, safe in the knowledge that they will find eternal peace in heaven, while the evil leader of the English, St. Jon, is destined to burn in hell for eternity for selling his soul to Satan.
