	Problems with rating files Got spare money?

This is SOOOOOO annoying


I can log into the forum ok, it even auto logs in for me. I have my exact correct username and password as I got it mailed to me from apolyton itself (even though I already new it) AND! I stil cant log onto the Files section to rate some files


I want to rate Medieval Mod2, GoodMod and Martins new message Icons but it wont let me

It says I quote

Have you changed your password on the forum?

In that case it won't update in the directory, so you shall use your old one.

Nope I have never changed my Password.. do i need to register seperatly?

However it STILL says "Login Incorrect"

I think I know the problem. It must be the ' in your name. I'll check on it...

It's definatel something with it. I'll bring the problem to Markos. He'll know how your Directory user got created (when you registered on the forums) and can therefore see what was done with the ' and whant should have been done with it.

you say you got a mail from the request passwod link of the directory??

there is no user in the directory with your e-mail(the one used in your forum account)

please edit your forum profile to create an account in the directory

I tried again and I got the same error as before

I forgot the password for my old SMIFFGIG account so like a year and a half later decided to make my SMIFFGIG's account

No, he just lost his password, from what I understand the account itself is okay.

Doesn't matter, a DL is a DL (but not every DL is a malicious DL - and you don't get punished for giving up DLs that are given up before a mod catches them).

You might need to edit the sign-up script to disallow the ' character. Seems to be causing all sorts of problems.

The reason I left it so long to get a new one was cause I wasnt bothered I had lost my password as I wasnt playing CtP2 much and I had tottaly gone off Civ3 (and still hate the game)

Then I started playing CtP2 again because I randomly visited here and seen all the class modding that was going on so downloaded MM2 which I used to have the first version or whatever and now its just the best Civ game there is like the good old days when Civ2 first came out.

your forum login and you directory login are now SMIFFGIG
password and e-mail are the same

you'll probably need to logout and re-login from the forum to set the username/password cookie correctly
