In a near futur, I am intersted to create PBEM game with specific scenarii.

1 - Is every body allowed to start a game in this site ?
2 - Is there some specific policy ?

Each game you start should be rated, for in the last half year, there are no unrated games being started.
And go to Keygen's YRC to get in a game faster.

Anyone one can start a rated game but it does require a small amount of responsibility from the game starter, to try and keep the turn moving and to post the rankings form the power graph every 10 turns.

Each game has it's own rules agreed between the players. The 24 hour rule (i.e. you must play your turn within 24hr of receiving it) is now fairly standard, and nexting players as opposed to putting them on AI. The method of posting turn updates and communication between players (forum/e-mail/ICQ etc) is also a consideration.

What do you have in mind, I may be interested in playing.

I had a cable connection. but now it's dead. Now I'm using a free modem connection. Free but poor quality (I made 3 attempt this morning to have a connection!).

I'm looking for an ADSL connection.

I have a modem connection, and an expensive one, and that being the only connection I can theoritaccly have here.

Yes, normaly a modem is good enought to play by email (I had a 56K modem). But my internet provider is quit slow and disconnect often during rush time. So I could try merely on hour before I could have a good connection.

Why do you need that "good connection"? It takes no more than 2 minutes to send one turn to the next player, and I hope they don't disconnect you so quick.

So I try several time (between 10 to 20 times).

1) What are the mods most used for PBEM ?
Actually I playing with the Keygen's one (Strife). Is there another used ?

2) Some body give handicap to balance players with different levels of experience ?

Once again ide like to rise up and voice my support for a dutcheese pbem. The question is ,are we going to actually set it up. Or just talk about it and never set it up
