The Italian Scientific Research welcomes the Lunar and the Soviet scientist.

The "Nuclear winter solution project" should take about 200 years to solve for a country alone.... but every nation that join the project will divide the number by 2

So till now ULS, NUSSR and Italy are working on the project... therefore if anything stays like this it will take 50 years.

We hope that every other nation of this planet will join the project.

Italy also welcomes the Russian idea about the building of a big International reaserching compound.

And we propose two locations for it:
1) A space station orbiting aorund earth (that would be easy to reach for everybody), but will take longer to create.
2) Convert on of those little island in the pacific in a gigantic International researching compound (which will be easier to build, but will take a little bit longer for non-earth nations to reach it)

News from NUSSR:

The Soviet Space Navy has been created (size small). It is mainly composed of old destroyers, cruisers and transport ships. There is also a pre-civil war battleship which is now functioning, the Bear.

Two new battleships are being assembled and the production of a carrier will soon start. They will be finished in two years.

NUSSR has now main control over Persia and terrorist activities have been crushed.
A third of our occupation forces have been removed and dispatched in Asia and in Northern Europe to accelerate the building of a defensive line.

In China, the Communist Chinese Party has gained quite an importance during the election, it is growing steadily. It will soon have an edge over other socialist parties.

NUSSR has increased her research budget and focus her projects on an increase of food production and propulsion of spaceships.

On a diplomatic state, NUSSR is neutral but will follow the way of her allies in any case of war.

These are the results of the elections held in Italy.
The Colonist party won it's second term, and Georg Kalac is still the Italian PM.
The Greens are still a very strong party, and in this election had fill a little bit the small gap in between them and the Colonist.
Between the outsiders both the New Fascist Order Party and the newly created "Communist Party" wich was created from inspiration to the NUSSR Communist Party had gained quite a few votes.

Annual Report of NUSSR

NUSSR continues her development and production has now reached in each industry sector her pre-civil war level.

Armament industry has started the production of a new tank series. One of them, the T-2100 will be the main MBT of the Red Army, a new type of tank, the T-2150, is also in production. The tank is really small, agile and fast and equipped with an anti-tank missile turret. In two years, production of T-2200. This huge tank will be the spearhead of the Red Army. The 94-ton tank will be equipped with a 245mm cannon and two rocket launchers on each side of the turret.

In air sector, new SU-107s are being produced and start to replace the Mig. Mig are being sent to Australia to upgrade their Air Force.


Social services are also upgraded and new high schools are being built. Hospitals are being built in Persia to treat wounded or ills.

Among them Mr. Tsung N’aiyguen, a close friend of Vladimir Illiouchine, assumes the role of Interior Minister of China.

To ULS (extremely top secret): I agree, we must make our alliance stronger! Isn't the NAF already part of our alliance, though? And how about we invite Sweeden/Io to our alliance too?

I'm concerned about Mars, however. They seem to appear to still be in their civil war, but I have a plan. I propose we send our armed forces to Mars in order to set up a stable government. We should be able to defeat the fighting factions easily, as they will not work together to stop us. We can then set up a democratic, stable, communist-free government that would be our most loyal ally.

Oh, and another proposal: Perhaps we should also consider setting up a democratic, communist-free, stable government in South America. It would be protected by our forces and would be our ally.

In the event that the NUSSR goes to war with us, you would not side with the NUSSR, but remain neutral instead. In exchange, we promise to continue helping the research on the Nuclear Winter project, and we will continue to send your citizens the supplies and international aid that they need in the aftermath of recent wars. Annual Report:

NUSSR signed an alliance with China. Tsung N’aiyguen and Vladimir Illiouchine both said that this alliance is only the start of a full cooperation between both countries and a possible integration of China in NUSSR.

The alliance also stated that China, through NUSSR will be a member of the Triple Pact.

NUSSR Space Navy has successfully launched the Red Star carrier and battleships, Lenin and Stalin, into orbit. The Soviet Space Navy is now fully operational.

To Triple-Pact:
I hope you accept the inclusion of China among us, through NUSSR.
We would also like a new meeting of us to discuss political, military and also space conquest or colonization. Also, NUSSR would like if the members of the pact could adopt a united diplomatic position.
NUSSR is now stable and the soon annexation of China will finish our setup as a world superpower. We are now looking forward into colonization of space and the expansion of humanity through space.

As you undoubtedly know, the NUSSR is making large advances in territorial expansion. I believe that there may be an annexation of China in the works. So, in order to keep NUSSR territory gains in check, I propose that I annex the UK, with your approval. They have been friends with us for many years. They will probably accept our offer of annexation, becuase their people would be much more protected by the military strength of our alliance. Would this be okay with you?
