	Capture The Flag!GL Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations

Starting a new GL game, with two players per side, An experienced and an inexperienced player on each team. Rules are to be finalised, but victory will be defeat of the inexperienced player (the flag) either by total obliteration, or capture of his capital city. Points will be awarded as 1st to experienced player on victorious side, 2nd to inexperienced player on victorious side etc etc.. Game will commence Wednesday 8:30EDT and play for two hours first session.

Players so far:
1: Blackice
2: Quinns
3: jpww
4: Gavrushka

Any other interested players please post here, as it may be possible to hold several Games, with winners of one playing winners of another.

Great Darth now lets see if we can convince Fuzzball or The Bird Man or some other player swissy? to make another team.

Well guys? It's just a few hours or an hour a pop!

I would say you two play a game and the winner plays with Quinns loser me?

I would like to see if we could get two more teams then we can have a tourney of sorts. The PBEM Tag Team Tourney If we only get one more we could do a six player lol the chaos you would have to love that.

Any input?

LOL I like your attitude Gavrushka! Blackice the Murderous Tyrant! Sounds good with just 4. More than that will be hard to manage IMO, but I welcome Darth Viper and one other if all agree!

That is 8:30 P.M. EDT on Wednesday BTW. Not A.M. (00:30 GMT, Thursday) That's pretty late at night for you Gavrushka!

No self respecting Settler of mine is gonna work yer Pig Farms Blackice, unless they get assigned to the breeder unit

So I need to play against Darth? What about jpww, and is King Thor in? If we have to play games to organise weak and strong together - it gives time to find two more players, and have a tourney!

So Darth if your up, small map three settlers, 100 turns and see who rates highest at the end (none GL for this if you like).

Blackice, me and Darth are going to battle it out tonight to find out our relative Strength... If we could get two more players that would allow two games to play - I think some of the ranking Players are worried that they get dragged down by a weak player- I say the option is up to the Ranked played whether he reports it as a GL or not (but gotta decide before it starts, yeh).

Leaves jpww, and King Thor as a team at the minute yeh?

Okay, I played Darth Viper, and he plays well, we played on a small map with three settlers each, Darth went for xtra cities, I stuck with my initial three- I figured since we would rate after 100 turns three for was right, I built a wonder early on, and took the lead in the ratings, but failed in a Knight Archer offensive with 17 units - I took a city with a further group two turns after, but Darth Viper got booted and the AI kicked in, at the close, because I lost so many units the ratings were almost identical (the game became unplayable at about the time I took the city) and so we have agreed Darth will Partner Blackice, and I will partner Quinns.
