I'm going to be in and out until I move successfully and get a new ISP up north. Officially move date is set for June 18 so after that expect a blackout from me until I can get an ISP which will be ASAP.

Well, I now have an iffy (free) ISP from my school. They're not as... open, about giving away free connections as my undergrad school was so until wife and I have our money situation finalized (I have a job, she needs one) expect that I'll try to be on as often as I can but it may not be that often anymore.

Ok I would guess I will call this a PREEMPTIVE STRIKE

I may or not be knoccked offline if Charley and the remnants hit us here on the coast..

from Bonnie alone we are under both Tornado warnings and Flood watches (expected >5" of rain)

Now Hurricane Charley which is most assuredly a greater threat.

If I go off (possible to flooding and disconnections of Cable services) I will return soon as possible!

The Hurricane if it impacts us will be later Saturday-Sunday time frame

Yeah kinda scary lots of Tornado's some other winds but it was a Catagory One when it hit us and eyewall passed about 20 miles maybe (something like that) to our West which put us in the Northeast Quadrant..MAN!! its a freaky thing to go through..everytime I do I remember why I dun wanna do it again!

But cant really chose when they will attack...

What was really sad for this area was the remnants from Bonnie the day before..a Tornado spawned and tore up Rocky Pointe (about 40 minutes from us) and killed 3 people..One the dad died on top of his two children saving their lives..
I cant tell you how that really touches home..like the story of the mother bird who burned to death and the little birdies were not even harmed under her wing...

Ok..now to stay tuned to what next we may have to face

i will be unable to play CTP until sunday evening.
i have made preparations to next/resend turns in the 3 games im modding during that timespan if necessary.
