	stuck before i start Enter the AD-FREE zone

Hi, new to patches, cradles etc. still, doesn't stop me going round in circles all day. have downloaded and unzipped the patch, modswapper and both cradle files for new tournament. have installed the patch and modswapper but am now stuck.
help............ ::

Where are you stuck? Have you put the cradle files into the CTP2 directory? If so, than open modswapper, highlight "cradle1.32" and press "launch CTP2".

when i open modswaper, the only option it gives me is original game. dont know how to get cradle 1.32 into modswapper......

Hmm, it sounds as though you don't have cradle installed. You need too unzip the cradle files into the Activision\Call to power 2 folder. After this is done, reopen Modswapper and see if they show up

have already unzipped bopth cradle files.
modswapper says ctp modswapper 1.12 at top. is this right version? does anything happen after you install the patch as maybe thats wheere im going wrong?

You needs the install everything in the right order. (The right order being ): CtP2 game > CtP2 patch 1.11 > Modswapper > Cradle

When the patch is installed, it will give a message saying something like "patch successfully installed", I have had problems in the past where the patch wouldn't install correctly, if CTP2 wasn't installed in the default directory... So I suggest that you make sure that this is the case as well.

just reinstalled everything in right order. all apparently successful, but only original game option in modswopper. how do you actually install cradle once unzipped?

It sounds like Cradle is not installed. The cause could be that you unzipped the *.zip file into the wrong folder, or there is something inside the *.zip file wrong, or your unzip program did not used the saved folder structure within the *.zip file. If you find a lot of files in your [Your CTP2 folder]\ctp2_data\default\gamedata\ folder with the CRA_ prefix then the mod is installed correctly. (Note my CTP2 folder is C:\Activision\CTP2\ I don't recall the suggestion of the CTP2 installation program) If you find it somewhere else then the mod isn't installed. If you find the files in a folder different from your CTP2 folder but in the subfolder that does has the correct name then you just have to move the \ctp2_data folder to your CTP2 folder and then you should find the entry in ModSwapper. If the subfolder structure not intact then you should check if the option that the saved folder tree should be used is enabled.

seem to be getting somewhere, but when i try and extract the update cradle into the game data folder, it wont allow it. where exactly should you unzip the cradle files to?

in the ct2 main directory. The one that has the folders ctp2_data, ctp2_program, help and other forlders inside it.
by default: Call to Power II but it could have been changed during instalation

I did a reinstall a few weeks ago with Cradle 1.32 without any problems (Also with 1.33 last night). Make sure you've read the install instructions in the readme folder (regarding the install pathways, and the change you need to make in userprofile.txt) and also the main readmes and pdf files for a breakdown of the Mod.
