	Actual Final Rules Browse Apolyton AD-FREE

Here is the new final rules post. Please select your desired options below.

If you vote No Bribing....you can still vote for a "If Bribing" category. Just incase bribing wins somehow.

Also...for extra security...please post your selections below.

That way if someone messes with the poll we will still have a useable record.

3 written votes for 1x1x but only two actual votes. And 2 votes for 2x1x but only one written vote.

I think Pggar meant 2x1x....but I can't be sure.

Quite frankly, anything other than a small map will not EVER get finished.

2x1 production is nice, but can skew the game.

Playing on anything lower than King is an atrocity.

We MUST ENSURE that we all get even starts. 1 Settler, NO Techs!

We are playing with a large map in the GC game. And it's progressing fine

It helps speed it up...to overcome large maps.

Bah...minor detail. The CPU attempts to compinsate based on starting position. If your on an island....you get a boost of a few techs and maybe an extra settler. Perfectly fair if you ask me.

I'm not restarting the game 45 times because people don't like the starts....I'm not going at that.

Give me two setts and the tech path to Monarchy and we'll see how long this game lasts. Or how quickly the whining starts.

It HAS TO BE EVEN. If not, there will be way too many problems.

Re Large Maps: how long do your turns take? I have played games on large maps where turns can take up to 1 1/2 hrs in the later stages. I don't want to see that!

Maybe 5-6 minutes a peace. Unless there are discussions taking place...then 15-20 minutes.

And there is WAR in our game.

About the map and starting conditions. Are we leaving this to chance? I think we'd all be more comfortable playing from a startup regulated by an outsider. Otherwise, there is a very good chance of one team being unfairly disadvantaged by blind luck.

Well....we are starting the game in 6 hours.

So I'm going to sum up the votes now:

I expect all the players to be on an IM in 6 hours so we can start. People NOT directly playing should cooridnate with their teams, and find a private place to have Chats. (Or they can just do it via IM's.)

I didn't get here in time to vote, but I think most things look good (except that I would have preferred 1x1x).

EDIT: Now I get it (after Corn explained the meaning of all the color bars and numbers to me ), 1x1x actually did win. Well, I have nothing to complain about then

I noticed in the feeder post at Gamecatcher that Black Clicking may be considered Cheating. But, it seems so innocent, such an easy temptation, or one might do it by accident. Here is starlifter's huge list of Cheats and analysis that we use at CFC Game Of The Month: Civ2 GOTM Techniques, Cheats, Rules, Discussion which allows Black Clicking.

Of course in Solitaire, bribing the AI is the way to go, but in MP we are not Bribing. Is there a thread that details what No Cheating means for the MSDG?

Sorry for the somewhat late reply, but how do you get "No bribing" out of 9-7 FOR ai bribing?
