Hmm. I need more time to be VP - it shouldn't be a demanding job, but I somehow made it one last time! Minister of Trade? I could do that (not much to do - I haven't yet had a dummy position in a Democracy Game! ). Alright - time to give it a go. However, I'd LOVE to campaign against shade again - this time for SMC and hopefully have a good match (remember that Trade Minister competition before I was anything in this game, shade? ). I will nominate myself for BOTH if I can. I may need to ask what ppl think of this.

I haven't quite made up my mind yet.
There's a few people that I'm waiting for nominations before I make mine.

But I've been a crappy City Planner, and I won't be nominating for that again.

Also, this last month has been nuts. At one point, I held seven offices across four democracy games. Being a citizen again could be nice.

But...I'll think about it.

I am going on a holiday to Ireland and the local 3 october celebrations are comming up.It might not be the best time to be in office when you know you're going to be drunk for half the month

I most certainly will be involved with this game but will hold back on nominating for a possition .

The game is fairly on track, a little behind where we would want to be tech wise but in fairly good shape none the less.

I would like to see someone else put there hand up to be president for no other reason than to stop it becoming the Hydey game rather than a democracy game but I will wait a few days and see who has nominated for what .

I agree. More people should run for Ministerial offices so that they gain the experience needed to run for President. I understand that interested new people want the "top job", but there are things about doing it that you only learn by being a Minister first for a month or two.

Ideally, several people (with some Ministerial experience) should be running for President each month. We shouldn't be having all these uncontested elections. And I would really like to see more people running for Minister jobs to get that experience and add their unique views to the recommendations to the President.
