Got spare money?

Please vote for each options to tell us whether or not you think the activity should be considered cheating.

This WAS the list of cheats, however, I think a vote would be better.

I assume black-clicking to find landmasses is OK, unless that would also reveal city locations.

Put an end to popups!

How exactly are unsinkable triremes and uncrashable planes achieved?

I am amazed to learn that anyone thinks Black Clicking or Incremental Partial Rush Buying are Cheating. You mean I can't buy a Warrior for $8 and switch back to Settler!? I do that every time, thought that was Civ 101 knowledge. At least Ship Chain wasn't mentioned, so it's not Cheating.

Here is starlifter's huge list of Cheats and analysis that we use at CFC Game Of The Month: Civ2 GOTM Techniques, Cheats, Rules, Discussion which allows Black Clicking, Incremental Rush Buy, Ship Chain, ReHoming Caravans and Settler Charging to name a few, and disallows AirBase Magic, Unsinkable Triremes, and Food Caravan Trick. Except for the Bribing, which would ruin our war, it all seems sound and would apply well to MSDG.

I have no vote for irrigating land without watter becouse i have no idea what that means

I think we should allow the natural abilities of the units in the game, eg the diplomat shuffleing and incrimental buying, even the airbase trick. I understand it seems like a cheat but it was designed to function that way in the game and I don't think that we should have to irrigate and build roads and railroads on a square just to be able to have an airbase. unless you can stop the boost in production then i see no way arround it. I will agree that building hundreds of Airbases rather tahn build roads or irrigation on new cities IS a cheat and should not be allowed.

I have no idea how to make unsinkable tiremes other than as intended by the light house so i wasn't sure how to vote there. If it is anything other than the lighthouse then yes it is probably a cheat.

Black clicking, while available in the game, can be detrimental to the fun of a game. The apolyton demo game lists it as a cheat and i agree in this case.

Unit tradeing and Wonder shareing are definately cheats and should not be allowed

Unsinkable Triremes can be achieved by using the goto command I believe as the computer continues moving it. Irrigation without water is achieved by putting settlers onto auto work, like the AI and so they will irrigate anywhere. I'm glad it seems that IRB will be allowed as its a useful tactic.

What is IRB? Given dictionary.com's definition I am assuming it means changing to something else before rush building to make the rushing cheaper...

Maybe someone could explain all of those things...

IRB= Incrimental Rush Buying.
This helps you save $$ and Shields. When you want to complete a unit such as a settler, you can buy another less expensive unit (eg warriors) and then switch back to settler. Doing this will allow you to purchase the unit for much less than if you had simply bought it out right.
Also you should try to do this so that all but the last few shields are bought, and then the city's shield production finishes the unit next turn, that cuts down on wasted shields.
